Konishi's other Japanese Electronica/post Techno side project T.K.M.F (Time's Knowing Mind Foundation) has now released a free track "to cheer up the people" in the Tohoku region in the northeast of Japan.
The beautiful song "I miss you so much (Pray for Mutsu Province mix )" couldn't have been better chosen, especially the atmosphere of the song is adequately to the point right now. Listen to it and you'll know what we mean. The song is an alternative mix taken from the band's forthcoming mini album "Nähe" which Kenji Konishi is currently mixing down together with Taka based in Kobe (Japan). Konishi ended his mail to use by saying: "Now I am in Leipzig and watching news all day long. It really makes me sad. But I have to go my way as a musician…"

Los Angeles based Nite Jewel will be be coming through Texas for a few shows this year. They will be playing the 35C Denton Conferette, as well as a multiple SXSW official and non-official showcases. RG has come a long way from when she first released her first demo back in 2008. I first saw her perform at TheLoft in Dallas where she opened up for Deerhunter and Times New Viking. She has a way of stirring the crowd and I'll never forget that first time she said..."Why isn't anyone Dancing?" That was the greatest. I had never heard anyone like that and she was definitely the hot topic that evening. A few months later I decided to pick up her Good Evening EP and ever since I have been following. I look forward to seeing the new NiteJewel ensemble. Of course Emily Jane will be dearly missed for sure.
Ever wanted to visit a Mexican Theme Park? South of The Border Truck Stop in Dillon South Carolina off I95 just south of North Carolina border. They have 14 shops with all kinds of junk similar to what you may find south of the US border in Mexico...They have a theme park with rides and mini golf. The craziest thing is that they actually have a tower...a 200 foot tall SOMBRERO tower. Really? Why would anyone want to get up on this thing? I mean, it would be kick ass if they let you buy a ton of fireworks from their shop and let you shoot them off the tower...
Ummmm.....YEAaaaaahhh, so MAYBE NOW you can start being a little more responsible and play this NES game before leaving your place or your favorite bar. YEah, Ya SEE! MYEAH! GIT THIS FRIKKIN Thing into your bar and LETZ HAZ SOME FUN! Only you have the keys, so why not make your patrons play this game before you hand them their keys? Eh? This is NOT your average Saturday morning cartoon video game. You know, the type where you sit around in your PJ's eatin a salad bowl of Fruit Loops and occasionally spilling milk onto the controller? Nah...This beauty was created by Batsly Adams & runs on a classic Nintendo Entertainment System. Players are asked to blow into a breathalyzer, which was cleverly housed in an NES cartridge, then the game would calculate their blood alcohol level and generate their score. The drunker the player, the higher the score. Aside from being conceptually brilliant, the game’s artwork and original soundtrack (composed by Kris Keyser in FamiTracker) really make it shine.
